Judith Watler is Co-Founder and Principal, AML Compliance and Regulatory Services. She has more than 30 years of experience in regulatory matters, AML compliance and corporate governance, including involvement in AML legislative development in the Cayman Islands.

Before Canopy, Judith was Director of Compliance and Regulatory Services at Walkers Professional Services, where she helped establish the outsourced compliance-solutions business and provided technical guidance on AML, counter-terrorist and proliferation financing, and sanctions compliance. Her earlier career included senior regional and global compliance roles in the private sector as well as regulatory work at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, including service as Acting Chief Analyst in the Investments & Securities Division.

The site also notes her appointment in 2014 to the Board of Directors of CIMA and her work as a consultant to the Cayman Islands Government in connection with AML regulations and guidance ahead of the 2017 CFATF assessment.
